Kirby birthday tribute: Barda

Today, well yesterday at this point, was Jack "King" Kirby's birthday. This is my small tribute to him and his character Big Barda, who got a lot of love on the nets today, and rightly so (she's a badass). These are just inks, I might go in and color them this weekend if I get the time, not too sure. Happy birthday to Kirby!

Daily sketch 082512 N7 Fury unmasked

Another daily sketch. Mass Effect 3 recently released a few human character additions to their multiplayer suite, and one of my favorites is the N7 Fury. She is, essentially, a witch. A space witch. Yes. Anyway, usually she wears a mask and a hood, but I thought I'd try to see what she looked like without them. This is...sort of what I envisioned. I'll get the look down better later, but for now it's almost 2 am and I should really be asleep. Let me know what you think!

Trying to do daily sketches. Today, my OC/comic book avatar, the Sentinel. Trying to get back into digital work, used a really rough brush for this to encourage working fast and loose (insert joke here).

I'll be sure to share the final product when it gets posted on the net, hopefully sometime soon. But for now, here's my part in the project!

2012 is the freaking year

I'm going to try REALLY HARD to keep this blog updated this year. Let's see how long THAT lasts! Here's my first piece of the new year, Namora from Marvel Comics, specifically the Agents of Atlas series. Enjoy!
